Who is responsible

What we collect
Only what you type into the forms on this site, and only what we need to answer:
- Your name and email address.
- A telephone number, if you choose to give one.
- The city or airport, your dates, the number of guests and any room preference.
- Anything you write in the message field.
We do not ask for payment card details through this website. Card details are taken only through the payment route named in your booking confirmation.
Why we use it
- To answer your request and to quote a room and a rate.
- To hold a booking and to send you arrival details for the building.
- To keep the record of a booking that accounting and tax rules require.
- To answer a complaint or a legal query.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your details, and we do not pass them to advertising networks.
- We do not add you to a mailing list because you sent a booking request. The newsletter on this site is separate and opt-in.
- We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. See the cookie notice.
Who sees it
The people who answer requests, and the staff at the building you are booked into. Where a payment is taken, the payment provider named in your confirmation processes that payment under its own terms. Our website hosting provider stores the form entries on our behalf.
How long we keep it
A request that does not become a booking is deleted once it is clear it is closed. Records of a booking are kept for as long as accounting and tax rules require.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Write to the address above and we will answer. If you are not satisfied with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office in the United Kingdom.

If this notice changes, the version on this page is the one that applies.
